Foster Montalbano, M.D.
As a Board Certified primary care Internist, Dr. Montalbano has practiced in Northern Virginia since 1985. He obtained his premed Bachelors degree at UCLA, his Masters in Biology at California State University,Northridge and his MD abroad at the American University of the Caribbean. He is a past President of the Medical Staff of Mount Vernon Hospital and continues to invest in his profession by teaching medical students as Associate Clinical Professor at George Washington University. In recognition of his clinical skills, Dr Montalbano's peers selected him one of 1400 top physicians that they would take their families to for care as denoted in the Washingtonian Magazine in November 2002, and again in July 2005 and April 2008. CheckBook Magazine has also included him in their annual survey of patients ranking their physicians in the top tier for Primary Care in Northern Virginia.
Don Brideau, M.D.
Doctor Brideau is a Board Certified Family Physician. He completed his undergraduate training at Georgetown University. He graduated from George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1984. Dr. Brideau trained at Pensacola Navy Hospital. His naval career included duty on the USS Virginia as the Medical Department Head. He served as Department Head, Primary Care at Naval Hospital Roosevelt Roads Puerto Rico. He received his Masters Degree in Medical Management from the Heinz School of Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University in 2001.
Cecily Dvorak Havert, M.D.
Doctor Havert is a Board Certified Family Physician. She is a native of Minneapolis , Minnesota . She moved to Wisconsin in 1993 to complete her undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison , and her medical school training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee . In 2002, she moved to the Northern Virginia area to complete her residency in Family Medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical School/Fairfax Family Practice program. Dr. Havert graduated from the program in 2005, working independently at a Women's Clinic in Falls Church, Virginia. She also began work as a medical and health policy advisor in Washington , D.C at the National Research Center for Women & Families, a not-for-profit think-tank that advocates for the health and safety of women and their families. At the Center, Dr.Havert specifically worked on the development of education materials for primary care physicians about counseling women on early breast cancer treatment options. Her other areas of interest include health and policy issues involving obesity, cervical cancer screening and prevention, reproductive health, and heart disease. While practicing the full scope of family medicine, she has obtained additional training in women's health.
Sung Kim, M.D.
Dr. Kim is a Board Certified Family Physician. He graduated from Loma Linda University in 2007 and completed his residency at the University of California, Irvine in June 2010. Dr. Kim joined Springfield Family Medicine in December 2010. In addition to his ability to manage the full spectrum of outpatient acute and chronic diseases in Primary Care, Dr. Kim has special interests in providing care to underprivileged populations outside our community by volunteering for medical missions in Haiti, Mexico, and Malaysia.

Joanne Charles, FNPC
Joanne Charles is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with eight years of experience in Primary Care Medicine. She received a Master's of Science in Nursing Administration from Old Dominion University, in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1994 and completed a Post-Master's Certificate from Old Dominion University as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2001. Her Prior professional experience includes nursing management, with a specialty in oncology nursing, and several years as nursing faculty in the undergraduate program at ODU. She enjoys teaching and has also served as adjunct clinical faculty and preceptor for graduate nursing students. Joanne has a special interest in advocacy for the poor and has helped in the development of a health promotion program for the at-risk inner city adolescents and for opportunity-based housing for the urban poor.
